Marcham
All Saints Marcham (Vicar – Nick Weldon) is seeking funds to help fund the cost of accommodation for a curate (Phil Rowlandson) who is due to start as a full-time member of staff at All Saints Marcham (and sister churches) following ordination in June 2025.
Phil is married with 3 young children. He is currently in his third year of theological training at Oak Hill Theological College in London.
All Saints Marcham is a lively evangelical church in a semi-rural context with a small staff team. In recent years they have run Alpha and Hope Explored Courses. Sister churches are:
- St Luke’s Garford
- St Lawrence Tubney
- St Nicholas Fyfield
Whilst Phil will be on a full curate’s stipend funded by the diocese, there is a need to fund 75% of the curate’s accommodation cost – hence a total request over three years for £30,000.
Nick says:
“We are much in need of another worker for the present harvest fields here in our parishes. Phil will have the opportunity to preach and lead services regularly, serve on the youth and children’s team, lead a home group, engage in schools work, and develop his skills in pastoral care, mission and evangelism – the bread and butter of evangelical ministry in a classic multi-parish setting.”
